How listings are sourced

719 clinics across 32 Singapore suburbs, compiled from public sources and collected in September 2026. Nothing here is written or paid for by a clinic.

Where each detail comes from

Name, address, category, Google rating and review count
The clinic's Google Maps listing.
Phone number, opening hours, closure status and facilities (accessibility, payments, service options)
The clinic's Google Business Profile. Where Google lists no phone or hours, the clinic's own website is used, but only if that website belongs to a single clinic.
Treatments a clinic "provides"
Text on the clinic's own website that mentions the treatment. dentistsg.com does not verify what a clinic offers.
Website and social profile links
Links found on the clinic's own website.
Suburb
The clinic's own coordinates, checked against URA planning-area boundaries (see below).
Treatment descriptions and fee benchmarks
MOH's published fee benchmarks and the CHAS dental subsidy schedule, cited on each treatment guide.

A detail that no source states is left out. It is never estimated or filled with a typical value.

How a clinic is placed in a suburb

Each clinic is placed by its own coordinates, taken from its Google Maps listing, against the Urban Redevelopment Authority's planning-area boundaries. A clinic that falls outside every suburb page's area is listed on the homepage directory but on no suburb page.

Contains information from "Master Plan 2019 Planning Area Boundary (No Sea)" accessed from data.gov.sg, made available under the terms of the Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0.

Suburb and treatment pages

  • A page such as "Dentists in Bedok Providing Dental Implants" exists only when at least 3 listed clinics in that suburb mention the treatment on their own website (285 pages today).
  • "Providing" means exactly that: the clinic's website mentions the treatment. It is not a claim by dentistsg.com about what the clinic offers.
  • Clinics are listed alphabetically. The page ranks nothing and compares no prices or outcomes.

The "rated on Google" list

When at least 2 clinics on a suburb and treatment page have a Google rating of 4.7 or higher from 100 or more reviews, that page shows them in a separate list ordered by rating and then by number of reviews. It is a threshold on Google's public rating, not a recommendation. Ratings are self-selected reviews, change over time, and say nothing about clinical quality. dentistsg.com publishes no review text and no testimonials.

What is and is not verified

  • The green "SDC-verified" badge appears only after a clinic is cross-checked against the Singapore Dental Council register. The site owner confirmed that check for the September 2026 data; it is a registration check, not an endorsement, and registrations can change afterwards.
  • A clinic that Google reports as permanently closed is removed, and its old address redirects to the suburb page.
  • Getting-there times are computed from the clinic's Google Maps pin. The nearest MRT/LRT station exit comes from LTA MRT Station Exits (data.gov.sg, Singapore Open Data Licence). Walking minutes and metres follow the real footpath network, and driving minutes to the nearest public hospital, ION Orchard and Changi Airport follow the road network, both routed on OpenStreetMap data (OSRM). Driving times assume free-flow with no traffic, so peak-hour trips take longer; each profile also links to live Google Maps directions. Where routing was unavailable, a straight-line distance with an estimated walk time is shown instead.
  • dentistsg.com is independent. It is not endorsed by, or affiliated with, the Ministry of Health, the Singapore Dental Council or CHAS. See the disclaimer.

Corrections and claims

To report inaccurate information, or to claim a business profile as the clinic's authorised representative, email [email protected]. Each clinic page has links that pre-fill the subject with the clinic's name.

Frequently asked questions

Where does dentistsg.com get its clinic data?
Names, addresses, phone numbers, websites and ratings come from Google Maps business records collected in September 2026. Opening hours and facilities come from each clinic's Google Business Profile, and treatments, CHAS and Medisave mentions come from text on the clinic's own website.
How does dentistsg.com decide which treatments a clinic provides?
It does not decide. A clinic is tagged with a treatment only when text on its own website mentions that treatment. The tag is the clinic's own statement, not a verified treatment menu, and a clinic can offer a treatment it does not publish.
How is a clinic placed in an area?
By the coordinates of its Google Maps location, matched to Singapore's URA planning-area boundaries, so each clinic is counted once in the area where its premises are.
When does a suburb and treatment page get published?
Only when at least 3 listed clinics in that area mention the treatment on their own websites. With fewer, the area page still lists them, but a separate page would be too thin to be useful.
What do the Rated on Google lists mean?
A suburb and treatment page shows a Rated on Google list only when at least 2 of its clinics have a Google rating of 4.7 or higher from 100+ reviews. It is a data threshold on Google's public rating, not a recommendation.
Who maintains the site?
